Large blue and white Delftware plate, dating approximately from the mid to late 18th century. The decoration is inspired by the chinoiserie style, which imitated Chinese and East Asian artistic traditions that were popular in Europe at that time.
Material: It is made of tin-glazed earthenware (faience), typical of the Delftware style.
Design: The plate features a detailed floral design, with large peony-like flowers in the center and along the border, along with small flying insects (such as dragonflies or butterflies) scattered across the field.
Color: The decoration is hand-painted in cobalt blue on a glazed white background.
