Widely recognized internationally, his most important work to date, “The Burning Train” (New York, 1960), is housed in the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, DC. Orellana participated in the Spanish Pavilion of the 35th Venice Biennale in 1970. An important and valuable triptych of his, “Crucifixion” (New York, 1960s), is part of the Vatican’s Contemporary Art Collection.
