Author: Alfonso Pérez Plaza Signed and dated 1976 Size: 67 cm x 52 cm THIS SPANISH SCULPTOR AND PAINTER IS ONE OF THE MOST AWARDED AND ACTIVE BOTH NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY FROM THE MID-20TH CENTURY TO THE EARLY 21ST CENTURY. He studied at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de San Carlos; enrolled on June 12, 1953, and obtained the title of Drawing Professor in 1957 and the licentiate degree in 1981. Doctor in Fine Arts from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia in 1989. He expanded his studies for 6 years in Stuttgart (Germany), and later in Paris and Rome. He was Full Professor of the Department of Sculpture, Faculty of Fine Arts of Valencia (UPV) from 1990 to 2007.
